DanSeitam - CEO

Dan Seitam has worked in the technology sector in Atlanta since 1987. During his career, he has served in the roles of CEO, COO and CFO. His functional experiences include sales, marketing, operations, finance and accounting in companies that span the business life cycle from zero- to mid-stage.

Prior to conceptualizing and co-founding InteleHealth, Dan was a co-founder and the CEO & CFO of coaXmedia. coaXmedia was started in late-1998, and continues to design and sell a last yard hardware system that enables broadband transport over the existing coaxial cable inside a hotel or multi-dwelling unit. Dan was appointed CEO of coaXmedia in early-2000, and led the transformation of the company from an engineering-driven development team to a revenue generating commercial enterprise. Prior to coaXmedia, Dan served in finance, operations and strategic marketing roles at several Atlanta-area startups, including ApplianceWare – COO & CFO (client software for network attached storage devices; Us/Intelicom – CFO & VP Operations (prepaid cell phone technology), SouthTech Communications – CFO (fixed wireless radios) and Digital Transmission Systems (traditional multiplexers).

Dan received his MBA from Emory University and a BSBA in Accounting from Robert Morris University (magna cum laude). Dan is currently serving an Entrepreneur In Residence at Georgia’s Advanced Technology Development Corporation (ATDC).

FarrFarhan - CTO

Prior to co-founding InteleHealth, Fariborz ("Farr") Farhan co-founded Movaz Networks, a Metro DWDM and Metro Wavelength switching Company in Norcross, GA in July 2000 and served through June 2006. At Movaz, Farr held the titles of SVP of Engineering, Chief Development Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer. He was responsible for definition of original product architecture, formation of team, hiring, creation of organizational structure, development environment and product roadmap. He also created manufacturing operations team and QA organization while managing multi-disciplinary engineering organization. He grew the development organization from a handful to 180 people in 14 months. He led Movaz to achieve ISO and TL 9000 certification.

Before Movaz, Farr was Director/Vice President of Engineering at Scientific Atlanta. While there, he invented digital return for the cable industry and initiated several patents. His design and architecture track record covers telecom and datacom systems, ASICs, hardware/software, protocols, O-E/E-O and includes several successful products. Before joining Scientific-Atlanta, Farr formed an integration/design verification organization for Pulsecom. Before that he spent over 6 years at Nortel Networks in the area of Transmission Systems.

Mr. Farhan is a Registered Professional Engineer and has published several papers in technical conferences and journals. Farr holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from GA Tech as well as 14 US patents.

JohnPeifer – Sr. Director of Product Management

Prior to co-founding InteleHealth, Mr. John Peifer was the Research Director of the Biomedical Interactive Technology Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology directing research programs in medical visualization, Telehealth, and rehabilitation. In collaboration with Emory University, he developed cardiac visualization software that is now a licensed product, PerfSPECTive(TM), and used in many cardiac imaging centers. Also in collaboration with Emory, Mr. Peifer directed efforts to improve treatment for Parkinson’s Disease through digital signal processing and computer modeling of the brain.  In collaborations with the Medical College of Georgia (MCG), Mr. Peifer developed interactive medical simulations that resulted in a US Patent for surgical simulation.  Mr. Peifer has worked closely with MCG on a variety of telemedicine projects including the Georgia Statewide Telemedicine Program and the Patient Data Management System. Mr. Peifer directed the software development for the GT/MCG Electronic House Call system which resulted in two patents and commercial licensing arrangements.  In collaboration with the Shepherd Center, Mr. Peifer directed efforts to expand health and activity monitoring into areas of Telerehabilitation. In 2001, Mr. Peifer became Co-Director of the Mobile Wireless Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (Wireless RERC) sponsored by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research of the U.S. Department of Education.

John began his career at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1977 where he directed projects on radar simulation and imaging until he joined the Bioengineering Center in 1989.

Mr. Peifer has written and presented numerous papers in technical conferences and journals. John holds BS and MA degrees in mathematics from the University of Georgia and is a co-inventor on three US patents.

GregKornick - Director of Sales

Prior to joining the InteleHealth team, Greg Kornick was a software sales and new business development executive with over 12 years of success in healthcare companies - GE Healthcare and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia. While at GE Healthcare, Greg earned the Presidents Award for new business sales achievement. Greg’s experience includes extensive knowledge of hospital operations and enterprise as well as ambulatory clinical applications,including Emergency Room, Critical Care, Surgery, and Pharmacy, Laboratory and Radiology and Physician Order Entry.

Greg graduated from Kent University with a BS in Marketing in 1986 and since that time has earned his Managerial Development Certificate from the Emory Goizueta School of Business, specializing in corporate strategy and industry analysis. Greg also is a graduate of the FastTrac Growth Venture program and formally trained in the Six Sigma methodology.

KayBrown - VP Sales & Marketing – Healthcare (Advisor)

Prior to InteleHealth, Kay L. Brown was the CEO of Footcare Associates and also a Partner at Morgan Consulting Group (MCG) a firm specializing in operations based consulting with a focus on post acute networks and provider sponsored networks. Ms. Brown has over 25 years experience in subacute, long term, and home health care markets. While at Morgan, Ms Brown worked with a variety of medical device and service companies. Her primary focus has been in the area of management and board relations focusing on strategy, business planning and communications. In addition, during this time Ms Brown served as Distinguished Chair in Caregiving with the Rosalynn Carter Institute.

Prior to joining MCG, Ms. Brown was a Senior Vice President for GranCare, one of the nation’s innovators in subacute care. While at GranCare, Ms. Brown developed post acute networks, managed the contract therapy division, headed up the company’s home health and as the company grew and required internal support, served as head of the Corporate Communications department responsible for Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Prior to GranCare, Ms. Brown was president and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Associations Of America where she created Visiting Nurse Preferred Care, a preferred provider network of over 250 home health agencies which did direct contracting with payors.

Ms. Brown has presented in a variety of health care conferences and written several articles. Ms. Brown has a BSN from Creighton University and an MPA from the University of Colorado.
